Children learn how to channel their grief in a positive way through crafts and sharing with others in this grief and loss support group. Our next session begins January 16th and runs on Tuesdays from 3:30pm to 5:00pm in the Mission Hospice Society board room, and is for children ages 6-12yrs.

This is a fun event for all ages. Participants can collect pledges and join others for a five-kilometre walk, as well as plenty of fun and prizes.
The public is encouraged to form a team in honour of a loved one or simply in support of Mission Hospice Society.
Registration is $12 per person, or a family is $30. If you have pledges valued at more than $200, then registration is free.
The event takes place at the Fraser River Heritage Park in Mission on Sept. 16, 2018. Registration begins at 9 a.m. and the hike starts at 10 a.m.
If you are not able to make this year’s hike but would like to make a contribution to the society, please consider making a donation.

Joun us at our annual Ride for Hospice on Sunday, August 12th. Register and join us on the Poker Run to support the Mission Hospice Society Children’s Bereavement Camp at Zajac Ranch.
Register Online – After purchasing your rider pass you’ll also be able to fundraise online! If you are planning on raising lots of dollars, be sure to choose the ‘Free Ride’ ticket, as your registration fee is waived with pledges over $200.

Who are Socialights?
We are a group of car enthusiasts that want to show the world that we care for more than just our cars. We create safe and fun environments for people to enjoy and show off their builds. It doesn’t matter the year, make or model of your vehicle as we enjoy them all!
At Socialights, we love to give back to those in need. Whether it’s collecting food/cash for food banks, or hosting charity events! We currently accept donations at every event we attend for the Abbotsford Food Bank but we are always looking for other ways to give back.

Come down to the Mission Race way August 19 – 20th and have a chance to take a Ride in a race car on the racetrack, courtesy of the Vintage Race Club of BC. All proceeds support the Mission Hospice Society Children’s bereavement programs. Rides take place during the lunch hour break which is usually from from 11:30am to 1pm so please come down in the morning to register.
