Christine Morrison Hospice
Serving the Communities of Mission and Abbotsford
The Christine Morrison Hospice, occupying the entire third floor of Mission Memorial Hospital, opened in late July of 2005.
It is a beautiful and welcoming place, where patients and families can spend quality time together. Expert medical care is provided by Fraser Health nurses, doctors and other health care professionals.
Additional support for patients and families is provided by specially trained Hospice Society volunteers and staff.
Features
Features of the Christine Morrison Hospice include:
- 24-hour medical care in a home-like environment
- beautiful valley and mountain views from many of the windows and from the patio garden
- ten private rooms with hide-a-beds allowing family members to stay overnight
- kitchen, dining room, lounge areas and laundry facilities for family members
- massage and other therapies available to residents, family members, staff and volunteers
- short stay accomodation for family members

Anyone wishing to provide financial support to the Christine Morrison Hospice can do so in the following ways:
Send a cheque to the Christine Morrison Hospice. These funds will be managed by the Fraser Valley Health Care Foundation, and will be used primarily to purchase physical items: furniture, medical equipment, and comforts and amenities for patients and families. You can address these cheques to:
